Volunteers are the foundation of Three Dollar Bill Cinema. For our 28-years of existence, we have relied on our community and champions of queer cinema to ensure that Seattle Queer Film Festival thrives in sometimes difficult environments. For 2023, we are relying on our volunteers more than ever. Three Dollar Bill Cinema is doubling-down on reflecting the broad and magnificent queer community via our Board of Directors.
Nominate yourself, your partner, your friends, your colleagues - anyone with the strength, energy, and passion for queer film and media that will help take TDBC to extraordinary new heights. We are a fun and vibrant Board that desires to shine brighter and add more muscle to our efforts to help create a just and equitable world through the magic of cinema, here in Seattle and beyond.
We recognize that the queer community is vast and full of intersections! Help our board represent the full spectrum of our beautiful people. We encourage all of our queer communities to inquire; elevating the engagement of trans, BIPOC, non-binary, lesbian, bi, people with disabilities, youth, parents and more, to add your impact to our little engine that could. All aboard!
Prior non-profit board experience is not required, but is helpful. If you have experience in accounting/finances (especially in the nonprofit world), legal expertise, technical know-how (web page design, social media engagement / marketing, database expertise), or if you just want to help make TDBC the best it can be, we would love to hear from you!
